Lord of the World

The novel Lord of the World is set in 2091, where a new world order is established by a dictator. Christianity has been outlawed and replaced by a deified version of the dictator, and a reign of terror has been unleashed on the populace. With the help of a mysterious stranger, a group of rebel freedom fighters attempt to overthrow the dictator and restore democracy.
