The Breaking Point

The Breaking Point is a 1950s film noir directed by Michael Curtiz. It follows a struggling boat captain, Harry Morgan, who is offered a chance to make a quick profit by smuggling illegal Chinese immigrants to the US. Morgan takes on the job despite his moral qualms, but soon finds himself in deep trouble. He must fight for his survival on the open seas until a dramatic conclusion.
