Clarimonde is a gothic novella about a vampire-like creature, Clarimonde, who seduces a priest and leads him to a strange and mystical world. The priest is torn between his faith and his desire for Clarimonde, and he eventually makes the ultimate sacrifice of surrendering his soul for Clarimonde.
