The Hated tells the story of a young girl named Lucy who is relentlessly bullied by her classmates. Despite her efforts to fit in, she is constantly excluded and mistreated. However, when a new student arrives, Lucy finally finds a friend who shows her the value of being true to oneself. Together, they stand up to the bullies and teach an important lesson about acceptance and self-acceptance.
