A Bad Day for Vermin

"A Bad Day for Vermin" is a short story about a man named Harry, who hates rats. He goes to great lengths to try and get rid of them, but they always seem to outsmart him. One day, however, Harry has a successful plan and finally exterminates the rats. But as he celebrates, he realizes he has also killed his own pet hamster. In the end, Harry is left feeling guilty and regretful for his actions.
