Ignatz is a character in the comic strip Krazy Kat by George Herriman. He is a mouse who enjoys throwing bricks at Krazy Kat and often succeeds in hitting the cat. Ignatz's actions serve as a running gag in the strip and highlight the comical and nonsensical nature of the world of Krazy Kat.
