The Warlord of Mars is a sci-fi novel about John Carter, a human being who is accidently transported to Mars. There, he discovers the world is inhabited by various races of Martians, and joins their fight against the evil warlord Sab Than of Zodanga. With his superior swordsmanship and bravery, Carter eventually overthrows the tyrant and saves the planet.
