Summary
The white spot, or leukoplakia, is a condition that causes white patches to form on the inside of the mouth. These patches can be caused by smoking, alcohol use, or irritation from dentures. They can also sometimes be a sign of oral cancer. Treatment includes quitting smoking and addressing the underlying cause.
