The eternal savage

The Eternal Savage is a short story about a man who defied society's expectations and chose to live in the wild. When two men find him living as a savage, they take him home and try to learn his secrets. He reveals a dream in which he has lived many lifetimes, and begs to be allowed to return to his wild existence.
