Tom and Huck find a treasure map and decide to search for the buried treasure. They encounter Injun Joe, a dangerous criminal, but manage to escape. They find the hidden treasure and become wealthy. Injun Joe attacks them, but Tom's bravery saves them. Tom testifies against Injun Joe in court and he gets sentenced to death. Tom and Huck become local heroes.
