Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom is a novel set in a post-scarcity utopian world. The story follows the adventures of protagonist Jules at Disney World, also known as the Magic Kingdom, and his efforts to protect its future. He must battle shady corporate interests, competing factions, and competitors over the right to keep the Magic Kingdom running. He also learns the importance of maintaining balance between commercial and community interests.
