Ivanhoe: A Romance

Ivanhoe is a historical novel by Sir Walter Scott, which tells the story of a Saxon nobleman, Wilfred of Ivanhoe, who takes part in the rebellion against the Norman rulers in 12th century England. He falls in love with Rowena, a noblewoman, and is aided by the mysterious Knight of Blackmont. In the end, Wilfred defeats both the villain, Front-de-Bauf, and Norman oppression.
