The Lamplighter

The Lamplighter is a story about a little boy named Tom who idolizes a lamplighter and dreams of becoming one himself. He follows the lamplighter on his nightly rounds and learns about the beauty and usefulness of his job. Eventually, Tom gets the chance to fulfill his dream and becomes a lamplighter, passing on his love for the job to future generations.
