Otherworldly Overlord
was transformed by his friends and graced him with fortune, he included Yinchenhao in the herbarium.

Initially intending to name it after Quesi and Zhu Qiong, the scholarly Medicine God opted for a scientific name after careful study, choosing Yinchenhao. He never disclosed its location, making its current existence unknown.

The herbarium also includes a poison: Ku Xuan Vine, the world's most toxic substance, capable of killing all within a thousand-mile radius.

From his account, the Medicine God had an antidote but withheld it, likely believing his intervention eradicated the vine, preventing future disaster.

He found the vine in a cliff of the Fanjiao Sect, which mysteriously vanished overnight. Curious, the Medicine God ventured alone and fell victim to the poison, requiring forty-nine days to detoxify completely and develop an antidote.

Reality was harsher than the Medicine God envisioned. Within a thousand miles, nothing survived—not humans, nor animals, nor plants. Tracing the poison’s intensity, he discovered the newly sprouted Ku Xuan Vine on a cliff within the Fanjiao Sect. Alarmed, he eradicated it before it could spread.

Later, the Medicine God learned from the sect's texts that the cliff was named Liudeng Cliff, known for its strange willow trees growing without nearby rivers, resembling lanterns. However, no clues explained the malignant vine’s emergence. Despite sealing it, he found no abnormality in the surrounding land, adding no research value.

Satisfied, the Medicine God left, and nature restored the land’s vitality over millennia, with flora and fauna resettling peacefully.

Tao Ci always found this narrative suspicious. Treasures like these typically formed amid phenomena. Jiuyang Continent's treasures emerge at yang-concentrated sites. Hence, an exceptionally yin-toxic Ku Xuan Vine’s birth must involve external factors altering the land’s yin-yang balance.

However, without evidence, he couldn’t explore further.

Third Martial Uncle took a sip of water, his voice dry after the lengthy narration. His younger brothers and sisters, still eager, stared at him expectantly. “Ahem, intermission...” Third Martial Uncle said, embarrassed by their expectant looks. “The details are in the books. You’ll find them as you read.”

The three remained silent, enhancing the quiet atmosphere. From afar, Brother Yu rarely smiled, watching the four siblings with keen interest.

“These little rascals,” Third Martial Uncle thought, smacking his lips in frustration.

“So, last time we mentioned…” Hearing him continue brought smiles to the three. “Are they devils?!” thought Third Martial Uncle.

Chapter Seven: The Lower Part of the Herbarium

"Continuing from last time, the herbarium mentions two golden herbs. Do you know which ones they are?"
