e reveal myself, knowing I would only be a hindrance. I decided to observe from a safe distance.

The woman conjured an ice sword from nowhere and charged at the gorilla. With a swift motion, she slashed the air, creating ice that froze the air and formed into a blade, flying towards the beast. The intense cold was almost unbearable.

The gorilla roared, punching the frozen air, shattering the ice as if it were nothing. The woman’s eyes lit up, possibly thinking she had an opening. She flashed behind the gorilla, slashing its back, leaving only a scratch. The beast instinctively reacted, turning quickly and punching her shoulder. The gorilla's defense was intimidating; if it were smarter, its punch could have either crippled or killed her instantly!

No wonder there was no other movement nearby; everything feared this powerful gorilla.

The woman flew back, struggling to stand, clutching her injured shoulder with blood at the corner of her mouth.

“What should I do? If I step in, I might just be a burden. But if I don't, this girl won’t escape the gorilla’s wrath.” I fought with myself for a moment. “I came to Beast Mountain for training. Thinking to myself, “What do you mean I want to die? I wouldn’t have jumped in if you weren’t hurt. I may not be strong, but I can at least buy some time.”

Regretting my decision to intervene, I said, “No time for debates. We can only escape together. If you don't cooperate, I have no choice but to leave you.”

She reluctantly agreed, “I’m running low on true essence. What about you?”

“I... I have about a third of yours left.”

She snapped, “With that little bit of strength, you still came to save me? Do you know how strong this demon monkey is? It could kill you dozens of times.”

I replied annoyed, “Instead of complaining, why not think of how to escape?”

She fell silent, taking out a binding orb. “I’ll use the last of my essence to trap the demon monkey. When it’s bound, run with me.”

The orb could only bind the monkey for about ten minutes; its force was too terrifying. “That’
