Yang Feng was flung by the blast, shielding his comrades from most of the impact. Injured but alive, they managed to maintain consciousness, while Yang Feng succumbed and fainted.

The explosion devastated the courtyard. The two women, sensing danger earlier, had escaped and avoided the blast.

Li Zhen turned to ashes, leaving a crater where he stood. Thus, the Tiger Gang met its end.

Regaining their senses, Li Wenlong and the others rushed to unconscious Yang Feng, recalling how he shielded them at the last moment, filling them with guilt.

Struggling to their feet, they discovered he was still breathing. They immediately decided to rush him to the nearest hospital.

Waiting in their shabby house, Xue Ying couldn’t shake off a sense of dread, feeling something had happened to Yang Feng. She tried to dismiss it as paranoia.

Her fears were realized when Li Wenlong and his men arrived to explain what had transpired.

"How could this happen?"

Xue Ying went pale, overwhelmed by grief, and fainted, knocking over a teacup.

"Why are you standing there? Get a car!" Li Wenlong yelled, lifting Xue Ying. "If anything happens to her, how will we face big brother?"

Hurriedly, they brought Xue Ying to the hospital. After being placed in Yang Feng’s ward, doctors concluded that her fainting was due to excessive sorrow.

Yang Feng remained in surgery for several hours while doctors worked tirelessly, leaving everyone extremely tense.

Li Wenhui and the four black-clad men eradicated the remaining Tiger Gang elements, declaring the gang’s dissolution. They confiscated all of Li Zhen's wealth, properties, and vehicles, totaling billions, retaining just a villa and a few luxury cars.

Anxiously awaiting outside the surgery room, Li Wenlong and his team instantly approached the doctors for news as the operation concluded. The doctor reassured them with a sigh.

"His physical condition is extraordinary. Despite severe injuries, his recuperative abilities are beyond ordinary. He's out of danger now."

The relief was palpable among Yang Feng’s comrades. As long as he survived, nothing else mattered.

Pushing Yang Feng into the room, they found Xue Ying awake, tears flowing as she saw the unconscious Yang Feng. The sight left the others unsure of how to console her.

"Xue Ying, the doctor says brother will fully recover after some rest." Li Wenlong spoke softly. "Take care of yourself. He wouldn’t want to see you like this when he wakes up."

"Hmm, hmm."

Wiping her tears, Xue Ying sat by Yang Feng, tending to him. She realized she could never be without him.

Everyone quietly closed the ward door, standing guard outside to prevent any remaining Tiger Gang members from causing trouble.
