ang Feng sensed it keenly.

“Brother Feng, the little girl is so cute! Should we help them?” Xue Ying asked, looking at the girl.

“So, Xue Ying likes kids! When we get married, you can have lots of cute babies with me,” Yang Feng teased, seeing Xue Ying flush with embarrassment.

“Eat quickly, Xue Ying. Then we’ll leave here.”

The man exuded an aura at the level of a top-tier master, making Yang Feng uneasy. For safety, they needed to get away soon.

“Brother Feng, I want some candied fruit,” Xue Ying said, eyes shining.

“Alright, stay here and don’t wander off!” Yang Feng insisted. “Wait for me.”

“Okay!”

As Yang Feng left, the young man followed, staying within a certain distance. Noticing this, Yang Feng hurried to buy the candied fruit and returned quickly.

The man sped up, seemingly becoming a blur, pinning Yang Feng against a wall, twisting his arm with a firm grip.

“Brother, let him go, please!” The girl pleaded, “They are good people.”

“Hmph!” The man loosened his grip, knowing his sister’s intuition was accurate, possibly having misjudged.

Through their conversation, Yang Feng and Xue Ying learned that the man was Blood Wolf, a top-tier mercenary and assassin betrayed and forced to return from abroad, now living on the streets with his sister. This revelation left Yang Feng and Xue Ying in shock, taking them a moment to process.

“Uh, can we just decide that without asking them?” Yang Feng replied.

Despite being only seven, Xiaoshuiyao had a special ability, a kind of telepathy, allowing her to read minds. She knew the big sister meant well, and she liked her a lot, but she wasn’t sure what her brother felt.
