The female manager noticed the noise outside, her hands flying across the keyboard with hacker-level skill, breaking through the firewall. She inserted a USB drive, copying all the software.

"Hurry up..."

Watching the data transfer, she grew anxious. She knew the guards were well-trained, likely awaiting someone’s command before entering.

Though an Earth-Level expert, she realized this wouldn’t end easily.

Chapter 23: The Li Family's Calamity

A car sped down the road, leaving only a blur behind. Police cars were left in the dust, and pedestrians were left awestruck.

"A driving god!"

Li Wenlong and Yang Feng, along with others, rushed to the company. Upon inquiry, they learned that only the female manager had been to the top floor that afternoon, but she was nowhere to be found.

"It seems she did it?"

Yang Feng and Mo Hancheng teleported to the top floor, seeing the Zhang brothers guarding the door. They understood why they hadn’t acted rashly, to prevent her escape.

"Big brother, you're here!"

"Where is she?"

"We've been guarding the outside; no one’s come out."

"Break down the door!"

A few security guards kicked down the door and entered the room. The female manager sat calmly on a chair, showing no sign of panic.

"It seems it's you. Your skills in breaking into this computer are impressive!"

"Since I've fallen into your hands today, do whatever you want."

"Big brother, spare her."

Li Wenlong shouted, rushing into the room. Xue Ying followed, sitting coldly on a sofa, looking at the crowd.

"She’s your person, you deal with it!" Yang Feng said angrily. "The company entrusted to you isn’t for you to hand over to others."

"I'm sorry!"

"Don't apologize to me. Xuefeng's success is due to the efforts of all its employees."

"I know," Li Wenlong replied bitterly.

Mo Hancheng looked around helplessly, settling down on a sofa to see how Li Wenlong would handle this.

"Did you ever love me?" Li Wenlong asked weakly. "You used me to steal secrets, and felt nothing for me during all this time?"

"No."

"Not even a bit?"

"Not even a bit."

The female manager, observing Li Wenlong’s tears, showed no change in expression. A trace of tenderness flickered in her eyes but quickly vanished.

Her heart ached, though she did not realize it already bore his mark.

"Do I really have feelings for him?"
"No, I can't!"

Seeing her cold demeanor, Li Wenlong’s heart broke. He took a knife from Zhang Wei and threw it at her.
