Chapter 24: Deceptive Hearts

Fortunately, Li Tianyou's room was located in a corner of the Li family mansion; otherwise, their sounds would likely have drawn many to witness their illicit affair.

"Creak!~"

Liu Xu, having straightened her clothes, pushed open the door and stepped out, her face still flushed. She walked with a noticeable limp, an obvious sign to any observant eyes of what had transpired.

"Beep beep~"

Li Wenhua drove back to the Li family mansion. Liu Xu tried to mask her pain, walking as normally as possible, but the discomfort was clear.

"Wenhua, you're back!"

"Mmm, I'm back!"

Li Wenhua looked at his wife, her gait seemingly normal, yet something felt off. 

"Liu Xu, why are you sweating so much on your forehead?"

"Maybe it's just too hot?"

"Maybe..."

Despite the cool autumn weather, the excuse seemed dubious.

"Could it be my instincts suspecting infidelity?"
"Impossible!"

Li Wenhua dismissed his doubts and accompanied his wife back to their room. Liu Xu, touching her husband's body, felt overwhelmed with guilt.

"I am a vile woman, betraying my husband with his brother. How can I ever face him again?"

With things as they were, Liu Xu could only let events unfold.

During dinner, Liu Xu and Li Tianyou met at the table. Liu Xu couldn't hide her awkwardness, while Li Tianyou acted as if nothing had happened.

"Hmm!~"

Li Tianyou gazed at his seductive sister-in-law, feeling aroused. He secretly rubbed his foot against her leg, showing his enjoyment.

Liu Xu, however, was uncomfortable. The earlier events had left her body hypersensitive, making it hard to control her reactions.

Unable to hold back, she let out a soft moan, drawing puzzled looks from everyone at the table, making her feel utterly embarrassed.

Li YuTong, knowing Li Tianyou’s habits, was aware of his indiscretions but was surprised at his brazenness to target his own sister-in-law.

Although filled with anger, she held back and left the table, while the rest of the Li family could only disperse awkwardly.

Li Wenhua took his wife back to their room. Under his pressure, Liu Xu confessed to the afternoon's events.
