Thunder Saint
h purple energy, causing the pythons to hesitate.

"Slash..."

Teleporting in front of a python, Yang Feng’s knife cut through its belly, spilling green blood.

"Boom boom boom..."

Furious, the injured python thrashed, toppling trees with its tail and hurling them at Yang Feng.

"Crack..."

A swinging knife severed a thick tree, as the python’s tail ensnared Yang Feng. With Mo Hancheng also entangled, rescue was impossible.

"Ah~"

Yang Feng stabbed the python’s vulnerable spot, forcing it to release him. He then joined Mo Hancheng, his knife slicing into the python, leaving it grievously injured.

"Swoosh..."

He threw his knife at Xue Ying’s assailant, striking its weak spot. The green blood splashed onto Xue Ying, who felt nauseated.

"Run!"

Yang Feng retrieved his knife, pulling Xue Ying as they caught up with Mo Hancheng.

Moments later, scavenging tigers arrived at the battlefield, devouring the fallen pythons until only scraps remained.

"The pythons are dead, why are we still running?" Xue Ying panted.

"The blood will attract more predators. We must escape or end up as their meal."

Navigating the forest cautiously, Yang Feng used his heightened senses to avoid danger, gaining a true appreciation for the Amazon’s peril.

"Whoosh..."

The sound of running water drew them; speeding up, they emerged from the dense forest at a wide river.

Overgrown with aquatic plants and bordered by thick underbrush, the river exuded an air of mystery.

"How filthy!"

Desperately wanting to cleanse herself, Xue Ying stepped towards the river but was pulled back by Mo Hancheng and Yang Feng.

"What’s wrong?"

Yang Feng pointed to the brush, revealing a group of giant crocodiles.

"Boom~"

Sensing prey, the crocodiles rushed towards them, their massive bodies and mouths brimming with sharp teeth, the stench of blood hanging in the air.

"Run!"

"We’re surrounded, there’s no way out!"

The crocodiles swiftly encircled them, making escape impossible. Even teleportation couldn’t move them to safety.

Their knives were useless against the crocodiles’ tough armor-like scales.

"Climb the trees!"

They leaped onto a nearby tree, the only one in the vicinity. The frustrated crocodiles couldn’t reach them.

"Boom boom boom..."

Furious, the crocodiles rammed the tree repeatedly. One after another, the impacts scarred the trunk deeply.

"What now?"

"If they keep ramming, the tree will fall, and we’ll become their meal."

Chapter 27: Indigenous Residents

"I've got an idea!" Mo Hancheng proclaimed, though at wit's end, pulling a bomb from his backpack. Specially designed with immense power, it seemed the perfect tool for their predicament.

"What’s that?" Xue Ying, ever the curious one, asked as she eyed the device in Mo Hancheng’s hand. "Is it food for the crocodiles?
