The Blood Sword Demon Youth
at intrigued him.

"The second level requires the elimination of ten Iron-Arm Stone Apes equivalent to Level 6 of the Spirit Body Realm within the time it takes an incense stick to burn," announced the voice.

Upon hearing his next opponents, Qin Yi couldn't help but sigh.

"Why does it have to be Iron-Arm Stone Apes? Their defense and attack power far exceed that of the Wind Phantom Wolves."

Before him, ten streams of yellowish spiritual energy transformed into the figures of apes, standing opposite Qin Yi in a line.

    "Gulp."

Swallowing hard, Qin Yi studied the ten Iron-Arm Stone Apes, feeling a hint of fear.

"No matter. I'll crush you all the same!" Qin Yi yelled, slashing out with a golden-blooded sword light at the apes.

The apes moved swiftly, evading the attack, and then surrounded Qin Yi from all sides.

In an instant, all ten of their stone fists loomed close to Qin Yi.

"Get lost!" Qin Yi shouted, brandishing his broken sword and unleashing purple-gold lightning at the apes.

The lightning struck them but had little effect, merely pushing them back a few steps.

"You’ve got to be kidding me! They have a bloodline talent skill, too?! How am I supposed to fight this?!" Shocked, Qin Yi observed the apes, now clad in yellowish armor emanating sturdy earth energy.

This Stone Armor was the Iron-Arm Stone Apes’ innate bloodline ability.

The apes pounded their chests defiantly, looking fierce.

Unwilling to give Qin Yi a moment to breathe, they charged again, delivering punishing stone punches that sent him crashing into the wall, momentarily incapacitated.

Blood dripped from Qin Yi’s mouth, but a smile appeared on his face.

"This is the kind of fight I live for!" Qin Yi suddenly sprang up, charging at the apes. His broken sword danced, sending arcs of purple-gold lightning at them.

    "Whirr~"

The sword beams roared like an angry beast, becoming grander with each stroke.

Yet, the Iron-Arm Stone Apes remained unaffected by the lightning, the armor only marked by white streaks.

The apes’ stone fists loomed again, delivering powerful blows toward Qin Yi. But he smiled, ready for this moment.

"Now’s the time!" He drew his sword in a flash, sending a purple-gold sword beam slicing through the apes’ throats, felling them mercilessly.

"Thud," ten loud crashes sounded as the Iron-Arm Stone Apes fell to the ground.

    "Phew, finally a breather."

"Second level cleared. You may rest for a quarter of an hour before proceeding to the next trial."

"I'll use this time to study the 'Jade Lightning Fist' and 'Floating Cloud Step.' Practicing these techniques will help in the upcoming levels," Qin Yi said, taking out two books and beginning to read.
