The Voice from Another World
aby boy. Congratulations, you’re now a father!”
“Oh, really?! Hahaha, son, your dad is here!”
Hearing that his wife had given birth to a healthy boy, Chen Zhan's face turned bright red with excitement as he rushed into the room.
Chen Po shook her head helplessly and smiled as she left the room, watching the anxious clan leader.
“Son, son, where’s my son?”
Chen Zhan searched the room for his son and finally found him lying next to his wife’s pillow.
Chen Zhan walked over to his wife, seeing her natural color returned, and began to examine his son: a sparse tuft of baby hair, eyes not yet fully open, but with a clear, handsome face that foreshadowed a future dragon amongst men.
“Huh? Why does my son have a pattern on his forehead? It must be a birthmark! But still, it’s my good genes that make him so handsome!”
Chen Zhan closely observed his son’s face and noticed a pattern on his forehead, which modern people would recognize as a musical note!
“Ugh... You brutish man... Get away, you might wake the baby!”
As Chen Zhan was about to pick up the baby for a closer look, his weak wife opened her eyes and halted him.
“Alright, alright! I’ll leave. Don’t get angry, you just had a baby.”
Seeing his wife about to lose her temper, Chen Zhan quickly gave up holding the baby, comforted his wife, and walked out of the room with a smile, carefully closing the door behind him.

Five years later.
In the courtyard of the clan leader's house, a child stood by the pool, lost in thought.
“Zhong’er, come here. Didn’t I tell you not to get too close to the pool? You might fall in.”
A voice interrupted the child’s thoughts. He stood up and ran towards the source of the voice, a lavishly dressed woman who was his mother, Zhao Li.
“Good boy, Zhong’er. Your father brought another famous doctor today. He’ll definitely find a cure for your inability to speak!”
Indeed, this child was Chen Wenzhong, who had been thrown into the Wheel of Reincarnation. When he became self-aware, he was already one year old.
He realized he had become a child.
When he first tried to cry out, he found he couldn’t speak at all, nor could he perform basic actions like crying or laughing.
Being Chen Wenzhong’s mother, Zhao Li quickly noticed her child’s inability to speak.
Chen Zhan, Chen Wenzhong’s father and the current clan leader, frantically sought renowned doctors for his son, but all said the boy showed no signs of illness, angering Chen Zhan, who drove them all away. This made the entire town aware of the Chen clan leader’s mute son.
“Swish—swish!”
Chen Wenzhong took out a piece of paper and a pen from behind and began writing. When he finished, Zhao Li read what her son intended to convey.
“‘No need to let Father continue searching for doctors. I will naturally start speaking once I turn ten!’”
