    And grandma favored Azariah.

    Then Harold, Gerald, Donald, Luke,

    And lordly Roderick

    Waged wordy war with Marmaduke

    And Bernard and Theodoric,

    While grandpa hinted Zachariah

    And grandma thought of Hezekiah.

    We spoke of Gottlieb from the German,
