oul will last for three more years. After that, I will use its remaining energy to send you away. During that time, study this space ring when your spiritual sense develops fully.”

I nodded and asked, “Master, what is this place?”

He explained, “You fell from the mountain, and your divine beasts transported you here. It is somewhat connected to you.”

“Can I return?” I asked.

Master shook his head, “I can send you out, but not necessarily to where you came from. My power is greatly diminished.”

“Where will I go?” I pressed.

Master again shook his head, “I can only send you to a random small world. My strength is not enough to precisely choose your destination.”

“Stay here and train. When my fragment is about to vanish, I’ll use its energy to send you off.”

Understanding that higher knowledge had to wait, another year and a half flew by.

“Qiyun, you have started your journey as a martial artist. It’s time to send you out for more training. Remember, only through bloodthirsty slaughter can you achieve greatness. However, never kill the innocent, or you will face heavenly retribution,” Master advised.

“I will remember your teachings, Master,” I promised.

“The divine beasts within you will activate when you gain sufficient strength,” Master added with a laugh. “From now on, you’re on your own. A master can only open the door; the rest is up to you.”

Master waved his hand, and my vision blurred, transp
