The Blood Sword Demon Youth
i, if you have guts, come out and fight! Why hide behind Qixin?" Guan Xu roared at Qin Yi, his frustration evident. He dared not take it out on Tang Qixin, making Qin Yi the perfect target for his anger.

"Brother Guan Xu, it’s not that I don’t want to fight, but Tang Qixin here doesn’t want me dead!" As soon as Qin Yi said these words, he felt a pair of cold eyes on him, sending a chill down his spine. He looked up to meet Tang Qixin’s gaze.

Qin Yi puffed his chest and smiled at her. However, Tang Qixin's icy gaze remained fixed on him, with ice continually forming around her.

"Qin Yi, today, in consideration of Qixin, I’ll spare you. Next time, I’ll tear you to pieces!" Guan Xu fumed, ready to leave. Just then, a voice stopped him.

"Wait," Tang Qixin's soft voice called out.

Guan Xu halted immediately, turning back to look at her with a beaming smile.

"Qin Yi is my man. Let’s see who dares to touch him!" Tang Qixin declared coldly.

Qin Yi's eyes widened in astonishment, staring at Tang Qixin in bewilderment!

Guan Xu was equally shocked, glaring at Qin Yi with intense killing intent.

Qin Yi felt numerous hostile stares converge on him, causing him to gulp nervously.

"Qin Yi! You’re good, very good!" Guan Xu glared at Qin Yi with murderous eyes, as if wishing to tear him apart.

"No, Brother Guan Xu, let me explain," Qin Yi shouted, but the more he tried, the angrier Guan Xu got. Guan Xu's grip tightened on the Fire Cloud Rod, driving it deeper into the ground.

"I, Guan Xu, challenge you to a death match! One month from now, we duel to the death on the Martial Stage. I will prove to Qixin that you are unworthy of being her partner." With that, Guan Xu stormed off.

The crowd also dispersed, but news of the incident spread through the sect like wildfire. Qin Yi’s name surged in notoriety again.

"Tang Qixin, what are you doing? What promise? When did I ever promise anything to you?" Qin Yi constantly questioned Tang Qixin.

She only smiled at him silently, without rebuttal.

"Say something!" Qin Yi demanded, feeling utterly frustrated, suddenly branded as "the Ice Empress's man."

Qin Yi feared the number of enemies this new title might bring him, glaring at Tang Qixin with a desire to wish he could take back his words.
