The Blood Sword Demon Youth
power were not at their peak. He dared not act recklessly towards Tang Qixin, lest he get punished instead.

"A good man doesn’t fight with women; I’ll let this slide!" Qin Yi turned to leave. Seeing this, Tang Qixin teased, "Are you afraid? How weak."

Qin Yi's pride took a hit, so he responded, "In a month, I’ll have Guan Xu begging for mercy!" Tang Qixin's lips curled up slightly at his bold statement.

"Since you’re already my woman, aren’t you coming with me?" Qin Yi gestured for Tang Qixin to follow. She rolled her eyes at him and turned away without another word.

Qin Yi shook his head in disbelief and made his way to Liu Hao’s cave.

    Liu Hao's Cave.

"Master, I have so many questions!” Qin Yi said as he pushed open the cave door and walked in.

An elderly man in a green robe was meditating inside. This was Liu Hao.

"Yi'er, what questions do you have for your master? Speak, and let me hear them," Liu Hao opened his eyes and said kindly to Qin Yi.

"Master, what is this world like?"

Liu Hao was equally puzzled by the question, having limited knowledge himself, mostly from books.

"Honestly, I don’t know much. What I know is mostly from books," Liu Hao said.

"Doesn’t matter, tell me everything you know!" Qin Yi inquired with curiosity, and Liu Hao reluctantly began to explain since it wasn’t a secret. Most cultivators knew these basics.

"Our world once co-existed with both the human and beast clans. The relationship was originally friendly until a blood-red divine sword descended into the world. Legend has it that both the beast and human clans could use this sword, a tenth-tier divine artifact, granting its wielder control over everything.

"A fierce struggle ensued between the two clans for the sword. Eventually, the beasts obtained it, but the sword disappeared thereafter."

Qin Yi marveled at Liu Hao’s story and quickly asked, "Did the sword never reappear?"

Liu Hao nodded and continued, "I don’t know much about the beasts, but I know a bit about humans. There are four major professions in the human clan: blacksmiths, alchemists, array masters, and puppet artisans, besides warriors."

"Alchemists? Array masters? Puppet artisans? Blacksmiths? What do each of these professions do?" Like a child full of questions, Qin Yi bombarded his master.

"These are hard to explain. You should read about them in books, but be careful not to act recklessly!" Liu Hao advised, ending the conversation.

Qin Yi, though brimming with curiosity, held back his questions, increasingly fascinated by the world's mysteries and eager for adventure.

"Yi'er, you must improve your skills. I teach you martial arts to protect yourself. Understand?" Liu Hao said. Qin Yi nodded in agreement.
