hers, he added, “From now on, this new member is an inner disciple of the Dark Division. Think twice before touching him.” With that, he vanished.

Stunned, Tang Deng fainted. Chen Fei asked my name, and I replied, “Ba Qiyun.” He then led me to Chen Ke’s chamber.

Seeing us, members in the main hall were puzzled, except the girl who smirked, “Interesting.”

At Chen Ke's door, Chen Fei opened it. We entered as Chen Ke waved his hand, sealing the room in silence.

Chapter 13: Unlocking Divine Sense

"What's your name, young friend?"

"Ba Qiyun."

The leader burst into laughter, “Ba! Such a powerful name. Who gave it to you?”

After pondering for a moment, I replied, “My grandfather named me.”

“Where did you study?” This was a question I definitely couldn't answer truthfully.

Unhurriedly, I said, “My master passed away three years ago.”

Sensing an opportunity, the leader quickly suggested, “I don't have a disciple. How about becoming one?”

Chen Fei agreed and turned to me, “Qiyun, ask me if you need anything. I’ve studied most of the pavilion's manuals. Some of the more powerful ones, I’ve barely scratched the surface of, but even that has greatly increased my strength.”

“I understand,” I replied.

Leading me to the Martial Arts Pavilion, Chen Fei was very respectful to the elder there. I handed the jade token to the elder, who, after examining it, remarked incredulously, “So, Xiao Ke has given his per
